Teams and Permission Groups
Team types
- Backend team — Often tied to owning or maintaining APIs in the catalog. More likely to show an APIs tab with APIs assigned to this team.
- Consumer team (normal team) — Often focused on using APIs together. More likely to show shared Applications.
Exact labels on screen may vary slightly; the team header shows the Team type and Created at date.
Tabs on team details
| Tab | Contents |
|---|---|
| Members | People in the team with their roles. Owners and admins can add or remove members and change roles. |
| Permission Groups | Administrators only. Links this team to organisation-wide permission groups. |
| APIs | APIs linked to this team (common for backend teams). |
| Applications | Applications shared with or linked to the team. |
| Settings | Team-level options your organization exposes. |
Counts in parentheses show how many members, APIs, applications, or permission groups are attached.
Roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Manage the team name, members, roles, shared applications, and transfer ownership. |
| Admin | Add and remove members and adjust roles, as allowed by your organization. |
