Manage settings ​

Organisation Settings are for administrators. API-dex ships two portals, and Settings is reached and laid out differently in each:

  • Internal developer portal: open Settings from the gear icon in the narrow strip beside the main sidebar. A Settings sidebar lists General, E-mail, Catalog, Support, Theming and Logos.
  • External developer portal: open the /settings address of your portal; there is no menu entry. The same sections appear as tabs at the top of the Settings page.

Change the default language ​

Open General and switch on the languages the portal offers under Language settings: English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Swedish and Arabic. Only switched-on languages appear in the top-bar language control.

Flush the cache ​

Open General, review the Cache information and select Flush cache to clear cached data. The portal is briefly slower while data reloads.

Edit an email template ​

Open E-mail

Open E-mail. The list shows every template with its from address, from name and subject.

Select a template

Select a template to open Template Details.

Edit and preview

Edit the HTML body, preview it and save.

Configure the catalog ​

Open Catalog. On the internal portal, switch between APIs and MCPs with the tabs at the top; on the external portal, use the Catalogues rail on the left. For each type, enable the feature flag (MCPs only), switch Try It Out and the public catalogue on or off, and choose which fields appear on catalog cards; a live sample card updates as you toggle them.

Enable public support forms ​

Open Support and switch on Enable Support, then configure the CAPTCHA, the submission limits per IP and per email, and the staff email addresses that receive support requests.

Adjust theming ​

Open Theming to set colours for light and dark mode, pick a theme preset and fine-tune card and accent colours.

Upload logos ​

Open Logos and upload the organisation icons used in the portal chrome.
