APIs catalog

The APIs area lists API products published to the portal for the current environment. Specifications (OpenAPI and related) describe how to call each product. Producers can attach locale overlays so the interactive spec follows the visitor's portal language — see Translated specifications.

• Consumers add products to applications so they can call them.
• Producers publish and maintain those products, usually as members of a backend team.

If your organization uses backend teams, an API may show who owns or maintains it — that helps you know whom to contact for changes or incidents.
