Permission groups
A permission group is an access pattern your organisation defines: it ties together who may call which APIs (and sometimes how subscriptions work on the gateway). Administrators maintain permission groups under Admin → Permission Groups.
Teams can be linked to permission groups so that members inherit the right access. Administrators use the Permission Groups tab on a team's detail page to manage those links. Typical signed-in users do not edit organisation-wide permission groups themselves.
Permission groups are separate from team membership: membership is "who is on the team"; permission groups describe "what API access that team (or subscription) is associated with."
