Applications

An application is your client registration for calling APIs: it holds credentials (keys, secrets, or similar, depending on the platform) and the list of API products you subscribed that application to.

Applications always belong to the environment (and platform type) currently selected in the header; credential fields can differ between Apigee, Gravitee, and Azure.
